After releasing Heavy Liquid in January, the ever-improving Chicago duo The-Drum have readied their second EP of 2012. Released today for free via Mishka, Sense Net™ is their most polished work to date, curving its way through a dark and sleekly textured techno-futurism that feels both indebted to everyone and no one. It sounds like siphoning motor oil from a Ferrari and not dying; like pressing a juice from 10 vegetables and the stuff turning out an eleventh color you've never seen. Fellow Chicago natives Supreme Cuts contribute a remix, and they'll perform together July 20th at Glasslands in Brooklyn.
