Stream: White Woods, “Corner Town”

There's a light Ennio Morricone feel to this new single from Atlanta's White Woods, from the lazily lurching gait of the acoustic guitar to the suspense-ridden xylophone melody. It all sounds pretty ramshackle though, as if The Coathanger's Julia Kugel were navigating her way in and out of a lonely frontier town with only her heart to guide her, which is kind of what this song is about. “Corner Town” is the b-side of her recent "“Big Talking" seven-inch on Suicide Squeeze.
