Gucci Mane and Marilyn Manson Recorded a Song Together

May 31, 2013

Gucci Mane and Marilyn Manson are real life friends, and as Gucci Mane tells FADER exclusively, they have recorded a song together. It's called "Fancy Bitch." Manson wrote the hook and laid down a rap verse, with Gucci's help. It was recorded on March 14th, after the LA premiere of Spring Breakers, and the two worked together in the studio till 6AM. In an excerpt from a longer interview with Gucci, coming soon, the rapper explains how the unlikely pair met and why they get along:

That's my boy man. We got the dopest record in the world, me and Marilyn. Me and him got one of the craziest records ever made. We made it whatever day Spring Breakers came out in Cali. He came to the sneak premiere, and after we did the red carpet and watched the movie, me and him went to the studio and made us a record. That's the day that we met and began being friends. He's cool as hell, I fuck with him hard. He ain't the averagest white boy. He got swag. Me and him together, he don't get on my nerves. I can stomach being around him. He cool.

Gucci's presumably been a fan of Manson since 2009, when he rapped Sitting in my mansion/ Listening to Marilyn Manson on "Overboard," off The Movie Part 2. (Brick Squad rapper Rulet 1017 also rapped about Manson—Vacation in the Hamptons/ Rockstar Marilyn Manson—on this year's "Really Ready" from Trap God 2, suggesting that Gucci might help Rulet 1017 with his verses as well.) Since their March recording session, Gucci has kept Manson in mind. The rapper introduced songwriter Kevin McCall to Manson and, earlier this month, Instagrammed the above picture of the Antichrist Superstar himself wearing a "Free Gucci" tank.

Can't wait to hear this shit.
