Recent NYC transplants Zach Phillips and Sarah Smith, who release music as Blanche Blanche Blanche, have already shared a couple of tracks from their new full-length, Breaking Mirrors. Now we have yet another glitchy, gothic glimpse into the pair's peculiar musical world. On “Grey Pet,” Sarah Smith talk-sings about dark matter alongside cosmic synth textures, scrambled guitars and plenty of supplemental sound effects. It'll make a pretty great Halloween-night soundtrack, even if your plans solely involve binging on The X-Files in a dark bedroom. Breaking Mirrors is out next Tuesday on Wharf Cat.
