A little bit ago, we posted a pretty sinister-sounding vox and electronics cut from Melbourne's Prolife, the duo of former Slug Guts members James Dalgliesh and Nicholas Kuceli. The band's Overheated seven-inch is out today on Sacred Bones. "Gold Leaves," the downtempo b-side, deploys the same stark palette of beats, textural processing and echo-laden incantations, but to strangely soothing (and even German kosmische-reminiscent) effect.
