Stream Jo Mersa’s Pop-Leaning Reggae EP, Comfortable

June 11, 2014

Though Jo Mersa has chosen to lob off his very famous last name for the stage, there's no denying that this Miami-based, Jamaican-born youth comes from good stock. As the grandson of Bob and the son of Stephen, Mersa continues the tradition of musically-inclined Marleys. On his six track EP, full of varied content and pop and EDM influences seeming in, Mersa contemplates the moral ramifications of ostentatious living on "Rock and Swing," and sweet bare-faced love on "Sunshine." His EP sees its debut on iTunes this week but stream it below to get a sample of what Mersa has up his sleeve for the future of reggae.
