North West Follows up Her VOGUE Debut with a Chanel-Clad Editorial in CR Fashion Book

Because where does one go after VOGUE?

August 14, 2014

With a mom who's about to debut a book of selfies that's sure to become an instant collector's item, and a dad who frequently rants at-length about his all-round greatness and untouchable style prowess to sold-out arenas, there's been little doubt that the littlest West, North aka Nori, would be preternaturally destined for sartorial excellence fresh out the womb. While North technically made her editorial debut in VOGUE —where she rested in the loving embraces of her parents wearing little more than a diaper—North gets a jump on all the September Issue fuss by gracing the pages of CR Fashion Book's fall edition dressed in Chanel, appropriately accessorized with a the French fashion house's signature Camellia flower and a miniature version of their iconic 2.55 bag. Running alongside the portrait, shot by Michael Avedon, grandson of the legendary photographer Richard Avedon, Karl Lagerfeld offers sagely words of wisdom that we're sure will follow little North for the rest of her life; "It's never too early to care about fashion."
