That approach is clearer than ever on the heart-thumping ballad "Say You Love Me," the second single to surface from Tough Love (out via PMR/Island on October 6 in the UK, October 21 in the US), which is nothing short of anthemic. Step in Shura, London's purveyor of rough-hewn 80s-referencing slow jams, to make things a little more unsettled for her official remix; all pitch-shifted melancholy, the sparse rework amps up all the momentary pauses and breathy inflections in Jessie's delivery to create something devastatingly intimate.
