It’s a simple video, but it manages to match the song’s immense emotional gravity.

Jessie Ware's bold pop-ballad "Say You Love Me" details an idling relationship -- Baby, it looks as though we're running out of words to say/ and love is floating away, she sings yearningly -- and its accompanying video, which was released today, plays into that painful quiescence with extended shots of the lovelorn Ware seated alone on barren set that looks as if it had been left over from a Waiting For Godot staging. It may not sound like much, but it manages to match the song's immense emotional gravity. Ware says, "It was probably the most technically challenging thing that I have worked on." "Say You Love Me" was co-written by BenZel and Ed Sheeran, and the video was directed by Tell No One. Tough Love is out October 21 in the U.S. and October 6th in the UK.
