Beanie Sigel is still hospitalized one week after being shot last week outside his brother-in-law's house in Pleasantville, New Jersey. The rapper remains in critical but stable condition at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he is awake and breathing with the aid of a tube and ventilator, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. He has unable to speak with investigators thus far.
The Inquirer also reports that Sigel may not have been the intended target of the shooting. "He may have become involved in something that was not necessarily his own doing," investigator Lt. Danny Adcock said. "Just wrong place, wrong time, if you will."
