Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary special was tonight, and one of the many, many scheduled appearances was by none other than Kanye West—and, appear he did! He cut off Matt Lauer during the show's opening minutes, which was a reference to, uh, something. Watch him do it below (via Pitchfork):
