Someone Stole Kanye West’s Laptop

Pretty shitty.

UPDATE 3/11/15 3:01 p.m.: Def Jam's issued an official statement concerning the allegations: "The stories circulating that Kanye West's laptop has been stolen are completely false. His laptop has never been out of his possession. Hence, the laptop has not been hacked, and there has been no leak of personal data such as unreleased music, photographs, designs, videos or any other personal files. The leak today of the unreleased track "Awesome" was unrelated and completely coincidental."

UPDATE 3/11/15 11:14 a.m.: Well, there you have it: according to Def Jam reps, the rumors re: 'Ye's laptop being stolen are "untrue." No word yet as to how "Awesome" got out there, then.

Uh oh. If this tweet from G.O.O.D. Music artist Malik Yusef is to be believed, someone recently stole Kanye West's laptop, assumedly while he was in Paris for the city's Fashion Week:

There are rumors floating around, too, that whoever stole the laptop leaked the previously hinted-at 'Ye song "Awesome" to the internet, a song that indeed seems to be getting passed around the blogs right now. Pretty shitty.
