Watch Lauryn Hill Play “Doo Wop (That Thing)” In Her Living Room

With backing vocals from her seven year old daughter Sarah.

May 03, 2015

This weekend, Lauryn Hill was forced to reschedule a show in Lagos, Nigeria; in a message to fans on her Facebook page, she stated that it was because "the promoter was not able to get all of our travel arrangements taken care of." Not wanting to leave fans totally empty-handed, Hill also uploaded a video of her singing one of her most iconic Miseducation hits "Doo Wop (That Thing)" with an acoustic guitar and backing singers in her living room. Watch the mini session above—and if one of those backing singers looks a little bit small to you, that's because she's also Hill's seven year old daughter Sarah Marley. Aw!
