If you’ve ever been overwhelmed by the internet before, London O’Conner’s new song is for you. “Nobody Hangs Out Anymore” leans towards ‘80s pop, with a flat, loping beat and twinkling synths, but it laments the disconnected state of the modern world. “Inside your pocket there’s a way, we used to travel out for days,” sings O’Conner sweetly, before adding the constant refrain: “nobody hangs out more.” He shows his versatility by slipping in a conversational rap as well: "all my friends are on the net, and all my friends are in the net, and all of us are out of it, and none of us are into it."

O’Conner’s debut, O∆ (Circle Triangle), is due out June 23. Make sure to listen to his previous songs, “Oatmeal” and “Love Song.”
