Miguel Played A Pop-Up Show With A$AP Ferg And Chance The Rapper

He put it together last minute after Northwestern’s Dillo Day was cancelled.

June 01, 2015

Miguel was unable to perform at Northwestern University’s Dillo Day over the weekend when the event was cancelled due to bad weather, but the singer attempted to make up for the missed performance by throwing a free surprise show in Chicago. He announced the event on Twitter, and he recruited A$AP Ferg—also originally scheduled as part of the Dillo Day lineup—and hometown hero Chance the Rapper to help him out.

Fans captured some video from the event. Here's Miguel performing "The Thrill," from his last album, Kaleidescope Dream.

Chance the Rapper did “Sunday Candy,” one of his songs from Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment's Surf album.

A$AP Ferg went with classics like "Shabba" and "Work (Remix)."

After that, Miguel hopped a flight to London.

The singer's third album, Wildheart, is due out this summer.
