DJ Manny Just Surprise-Dropped A Gorgeous New EP

And it sounds pretty sexy so far.

June 08, 2015

At a mere 21 years young, DJ Manny has already established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in the footwork game—his warmly glowing, soul and R&B-centric sample work is pretty instantly recognizable, and in case you didn't catch him at Lit City Trax's very poignant Rashad tribute night in New York last year, he's also a pretty killer footworker himself. The Harvey, Illinois native and former Rashad protégé just surprise-dropped a new five-track EP, Tek Files Vol. 2, which we're debuting in full below; it's a follow-up to last year's release by the same title, and on first listen, it's sounding vibey-as-hell, chock full of pitched come-hither vocals and a delightfully easy-on-the-ears flip from Project Pat's "Life We Live." Tek Files Vol. 2 is available for digital purchase now via Hoko Sounds.
