In 2002, P. Diddy infamously wrangled six young rap hopefuls for the revival of sugar-pop runoff series Making The Band. The most notorious of this ragtag crew was Dylan, a young reggae vocalist from Brooklyn whose truancy from recording sessions and confrontational outbursts were the stuff of reality T.V. legend, and wound up immortalized in a famous Chappelle's Show parody, which we can only assume happened because he didn't show up to the episode shoot.

Dylan was born to a Grenadian mother and spent time in the Caribbean during his childhood, and his first single "Pay Dem No Mind" winds slowly through accented lyrics about dismissing shit-talkers.
