Listen To How To Dress Well’s R&B-Centric BBC Mix

The singer treated listeners as part of the weekly Diplo & Friends takeover program.

How To Dress Well (Tom Krell) has long been a vocal proponent of mainstream R&B—he’s cited the Dream and Janet Jackson as inspiration in past interviews—so it’s fitting that his mix for Diplo & Friends’ Saturday Night BBC takeover involved both these singers and more. (Also fitting that he started it with Janet, seeing as she just released a great new song.) Over the course of two hours, Krell moves from Babyface to N Sync to Fleetwood Mac—not R&B, but “Beautiful Child,” is one of the saddest, prettiest songs ever recorded—to Shalamar. Listen to the whole mix at BBC, and watch How To Dress Well on FADER TV below.
