Michael B. Jordan Playing Apollo Creed’s Son Is Everything

Creed, the latest addition to the Rocky canon, looks very, very good. Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film stars Michael B. Jordan as Apollo Creed's son, a determined boxer but one who has renounced his dead father's legacy. "I didn't know him," he says in the trailer, "ain't got nothing to do with me." Jordan and Coogler have worked together before, on the explosive and affecting Fruitvale Station, so there's good reason to expect great things.
