KABLAM Has Made A Song About Making Out With The Holy Spirit

This Janus crew member finds elevation on “Spirito Sarrando.”

KABLAM of Berlin collective/club night Janus wowed us with her joyfully noisy FADER Mix in June, and we've been pestering her for new music ever since. Happily, the Berlin-via-Gothenburg producer didn't keep us waiting long: here's a new Soundcloud loosie called "Spirito Sarrando" that samples MC Marcelly, a baile funk MC from Rio De Janeiro, as well as 15th century choral music. ”It's about making out with the holy spirit,” KABLAM told The FADER, and the dialogue between the two vocal elements—Marcelly's rapid-fire vocal loops and the almost liquid-like quality of the choir—certainly seems to hint at a rather pleasing frisson. Get into it below, and look out for upcoming tour dates on KABLAM's Facebook page.
