Amir Obé is now known in part for the work he has done with Drake—specifically, he’s credited as a contributing writer on If Your Reading This It’s Too Late track “Star67." But the Detroit-native also has a nascent rap career of his own that seems to be keeping him busy.
Today, Obé has unleashed three new songs: "Just Know," which officially debuted on OVO's Beats1 radio show last Saturday; "On A Ride," on which he boasts about possibly earning his owl; and "Say No More." All three are produced by Detroit producer NYLZ. Listening to these new tracks, you can hear some of what he’s learned from his experience working with Drake—but also some of what Drake has learned from working with him.
