It's been quite some time since Nashville-born production trio BASECAMP emerged onto the scene with their self-titled EP, but today they return with a brand new release, Greater Than. Born out of experimentation and studio fiddling, the six-track project is a wash of wobbly, jittery synths offset by gentle drum beats and topped with R&B-tinged vocals. "Every song we did started with almost no direction or concept, so it was always interesting to see where they landed," the group explained in an email to The FADER. "It allowed each song it's own identity without totally breaking the continuity. I think there was a good deal of evolution for us over the course of making this record."
