BASECAMP Find Light In Unsettling “Esc” Video

TFW you realize there is no turning back.

BASECAMP's have shared a somewhat unsettling video for "Esc," a paranoid, mournful electro-R&B track off Nashville production trio's 2015 Greater Than EP. It opens with singer Aaron Miller shrouded in the darkness of a neon-lit night club. But somewhere along the way he finds himself caught in an uncomfortably bright white light. In the dark, all the wounds we had opened seem more like a reason to bury the pain, Miller sighs.

Describing the video in an email to The FADER, the group explained that it "chronicles an intentionally unconscious flight from an uncomfortable encounter that goes too far, leading to a moment of clarity and the realization that there's no turning back."
