Earlier this summer, Nicki Minaj faced backlash (sort of) for expressing that she felt snubbed by the VMAs after she didn't receive a best music video nomination for "Anaconda," despite the fact that the video broke Vevo records. Taylor Swift even chimed in. The issue was seemingly over until two plot twists occurred today. The first came in the form of a New York Times interview with Miley Cyrus in which the pop star, who is also the host of this year's VMAs, had some choice words for Nicki. Now, as Billboard reports, it looks like Nicki Minaj will be performing at the VMAs Sunday night making for at least one potentially awkward situation. Hopefully, this doesn't turn into another long, drawn out Twitter-saga. Revisit Nicki's 2014 performance below and read how Nicki Minaj is every woman.
