Before GQ gave us the best look at Kanye West’s highly thirsted-over fashion debut with Adidas, little was known about the Yeezy Season One price point. However, thanks to our friends at SENSE Magazine we've got the price breakdown of each garment. Let's just say the possible future Head of State is not living up to his promise of making affordable clothing for the masses: prices for the debut collection range from $160 for a jersey tank to $4000 for a shearling jacket.
The new collection is a solid delivery from the multifaceted artist, but the cost of most of the pieces are alienating a great deal of Yeezy fans. We're talking $585 sweatpants and $2260 for a destroyed sweater, which, tbh, are pretty standard price points for high-quality, high-fashion garments. The Yeezy 950 aka the Yeezy Duck Boots, are also featured in the editorial, and will cost folks about $510. Head on over to Hypebeast to check out their entire stocklist. Expect retailers like Barneys, Mr. Porter, and ssense to start receiving the West x Adidas pieces soon. With rumours of Yeezy Season Two debuting very soon at movie theatres across the US, our only hope is that round two will be slightly more affordable.
