D∆WN Shares “Hollywould”

A taste of The Red Era.

November 13, 2015

Back in January, Dawn Richard released Blackheart. For her forthcoming follow-up, she changed her name to D∆WN and drew inspiration from the color red. Earlier this year, the singer told FADER, "The Red Era is about moving on, redeeming yourself, and finding redemption."

Her offering swells and fades in steady waves. D∆WN works in several modes, delivering an airy hook, tightly wound verses, and and impressive melismatic vocal runs. Noisecastle III and Swagg R’Celious produced the tune.
