Dawn Richard shares self-directed music video for “Bubblegum”

Dawn Richard just released her first single of the year, “Bubblegum,” which also comes with an electrifying, pink-tinged music video.

The Danity Kane founding member never shies away from choreography, and this video is no different. Dawn Richard’s hot-pink vision comes to life as she boasts seductive, Beyonce-inspired dance compositions mixed with futuristic, CGI-animated clips and snapshots of the artist chewing gum. “The preface to the second installment of the Electro Revival, ‘Bubblegum’ is a cocky, candy-coated conundrum,” Richard says in a press statement. “Full of sass that only a New Orleans King can have, this yummy multi-genre single is just a taste of what’s to come.”
