It has been just over one week since the horrific attacks in Paris, including the killing of 89 people at the historic venue Le Bataclan where the Eagles of Death Metal were performing. EODM issued their first statement about the shootings this past Wednesday, and in a new clip from VICE lead singer Jesse Hughes and guitarist/Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme speak about the attack at the Bataclan on-camera for the first time. Hughes is visibly shaken as he recounts how the terrorists got into their dressing room backstage and killed everyone that was hiding there. "A great reason why so many were killed is because so many people wouldn't leave their friends," he says, choking up. "And so many people put themselves in front of people." The full interview will be available this coming week via VICE.
