Following a few years out of the spotlight, Breakbot is back. This time around, the producer has joined forces with longtime collaborator and fellow Frenchman Irfane to create what he has described as being “[Breakbot] one plus one.” The freshly-forged duo will release a new album, titled Still Waters, on February 5 via Warner Bros and Ed Banger records.

The project's first single "Get Lost" was written while overlooking the sea in northern New Zealand. "It has a lot to do with our perception of time," Breakbot explained to The FADER, "And our will to make some special moments last forever."

This vision is executed by directing team Dent de Cuir in a super-conceptual video that gets playful with its chronology. ".gifs are still a great source of inspiration to us," the duo told The FADER. "We wanted to use them in a whole new way, to take the principle of repetition inherant to .gifs in order to stretch time and recount a story which, in reality, only lasts a few seconds."
