Everything You Need To Know About Obama's Last State Of The Union Address

President Barack Obama will deliver his last State of the Union tonight at 9 p.m, a speech to publicly reflect on his two presidential terms as address his sentiments about the future of the country.
In a video promoting the upcoming speech he said he will discuss, "not just what I want to get done in the year ahead, but what we all need to do together in the years to come—the big things that will guarantee an even stronger, better, more prosperous America for our kids."
The President's guest list for tonight’s speech reflects some of the areas that the POTUS will cover. Oscar Vasquez, a veteran and immigrant from Mexico, will be in attendance tonight, as is Syrian refugee Refaai Hamo.
Kim Davis, the Kentucky courthouse clerk known for her stark views on gay marriage will also be in the audience by the arrangement of the Family Research Council.
Obama has placed a heavy emphasis on his efforts to push for a tighter grasp on gun control and can be expected to address those issues in tonight's speech.
On the Another Round podcast, President Obama's Senior Advisor, Valerie Jarrett said of her boss, "He is so optimistic about our future,” Jarrett said, before alluding to Trump. “Now a lot of people that you are hearing that would like this office—they’re not so optimistic. This is still the greatest country on earth."
"This [the speech] is a very personal one, he's spending a lot of time on it himself," she added.
