After performing with Kanye on Saturday Night Live this weekend, Chance The Rapper hopped on Genius to share a couple notes about "Ultralight Beam."

According to the MC, his line, Just throw this at the end if I'm too late for the intro, originally fit better when The Life Of Pablo was sequenced differently. "This song was gonna be the outro and there it kinda made more sense," he wrote. "But its a reference to God’s covenant with us after flooding the world." He also explained the reference in treat the Demons just like Pam and what he meant when called himself Tubman of the underground.
