Beyoncé May Release Two Albums In 2016, Including One In April

A collaboration with Jay-Z could be in the works as well.

Beyoncé's new music video “Formation” came with a world tour announcement and a controversial Super Bowl performance that was condemned by pissy cops and praised by Nation Of Islam leader (and possible Scientologist) Louis Farrakhan. All this could be building up to a banner year for Bey: HitsDailyDouble reports that the singer is gearing up to release a new album in February (her final for her current label Sony Music), as well as a collaborative album with husband Jay-Z.

@TheBeyHiveTeam points out that Detail, producer of “Drunk In Love” and “7/11,” is booking off February 1 for “Beyonce Songs” and posted so on Instagram.

What do we know about the album? Not a thing. It might not even exist, so we've reached out to Sony Music for comment.
