Ramona Gonzalez aka Nite Jewel is always in the process of reinvention. Before her collaboration this year with Droop-E on their retro funk-rap project AMTHST, she released two very different records: 2009's Good Morning, a high-water mark of the bedroom pop explosion, followed by the shinier, arguably stranger One Second Of Love in 2012. On June 10, she'll return with a new record Liquid Cool released on her own label Gloriette Records. Its first single “Boo Hoo” is still new territory for Gonzalez, chilly electro idol pop steeped in regret and Crystal Castles vibes. Check it out below.
