NON Records’s Next-Level Pop-Up Store Is Now Open

On Wednesday, globally minded collective NON Records opened the doors to the "NON Duty Free Zone," a five-day pop-up housed at Red Bull Studios's Manhattan concept store, The Gift Shop. The pop-up showcases a new haul of NON apparel and accessories, including airplane pillows, flags, and pocket knives emblazoned with the text "IN DEFENSE OF THE PEOPLE." The store's opening is the first leg of a three-part event. On May 20, NON founder Chino Amobi, Nkisi, and Angel-HO will band together for a first-time collaborative performance to challenge the notion of national borders and boundaries at The New Museum. Later that night, they will be joined by members of Mexico City label, N.A.A.F.I, for a sure-to-be-lit afterparty at Tropical 128. Both performances are part of Red Bull Music Academy's latest NYC event series.
