Angel Olsen Announces New Album My Woman

When Angel Olsen hit us with the "Intern" trailer last week it was obvious something bigger was coming and today we have the news that she will release new album My Woman on September 2. According to a press release, the follow up to 2014’s Burn Your Fire For No Witness isn’t necessarily a feminist manifesto, but it does sometimes deal with themes surrounding “the complicated mess of being a woman.”

Olsen worked with producer Justin Raisen (Charli XCX, Sky Ferreira) on the poppier, synth-based half of the album (he produced "Intern") with the latter half of the album similar to her older material. Revisit "Intern" below.
