iLoveMakonnen stopped by Tim Westwood's studio for an interview and freestyle session this weekend. In London to headline Born & Bred 2016 in Haggerston Park, Makonnen went in over Future's “Where Ya At,” “I’m The Plug”, and “Jumpman” during the session. His lyrics saw him address rumours of being dropped from OVO Sound and his recent weight loss ("Damn, motherfucker sayin’ I got dropped / Ha-ha, that’s some motherfucking hip hop / Shit, you know that’s a motherfucking lie / Only place I dropped down is in my pants size.")
After the freestyle was broadcast Makonnen tweeted in response to listeners who had described his freestyle as "trash."
