Once a vital part of the noisy New York hip-hop set Ratking, Hak will release a debut solo project titled JUNE on the summer solstice, June 21. This Wednesday, he has shared a video for a zoned-out cut off that project called "Aura." It finds Hak on a heavy-hearted sovereign in the desert, weaving his way through saguaros, neat rows of windmills, and piles of rocks in the deserts outside of Los Angeles in seek of clarity. Words so sweet but I know it ain't love, he sings, before concluding, On to blessed roads.

'It is a sweaty ode to these months of shine," he told The FADER in an email. "The the video was shot in Joshua Tree, an incredible National Park in Southern California in late May, and filmed/edited by Tom Leary."
