Earlier this year, Kanye West and music streaming service Tidal were sued by a man claiming that the two parties mislead the public regarding the exclusivity of West's The Life of Pablo album. The album, which West claimed would remain a Tidal exclusive, reportedly more than doubled the streaming service's user base before it was made available on Apple Music and Spotify.
