Alessandro Michele Is Now Offering Customers The Option To DIY Their Gucci

High fashion arts and crafts.

June 22, 2016

The #GucciDIY project is the brainchild of the label's Creative Director Alessandro Michele and...it is total genius. The service was introduced so customers could remix the iconic Dionysus bag, but now jackets and footwear are also available canvases for self-expression. Killer monogram patches, embellishments, and embroideries that range from bumblebees and dragonflies to snakes and tigers are available to adorn Gucci's luxury goods. As if customizing the facades of apparel is not cool enough, customers can select from badass silk and shearling linings to finish off their denim, leather, and tailored outerwear. If you want to play high fashion arts and crafts anytime soon, you'll have to stop into Gucci's flagship store in Milan. However, The Fashion Law reports the DIY service will go global in the near future.
