Yasiin Bey Emerges Triumphant In A Tribe Called Red’s “R.E.D.” Video

For the "R.E.D." music video, A Tribe Called Red hand off starring duties to Yasiin Bey and Narcy, guest stars on the single from their upcoming album We Are The Halluci Nation. The clip, directed by Narcy, is shot in Cape Town, South Africa, and addresses Bey's continuing immigration problems by following the two rappers as they attempt to slip through the borders of their enemies, the Alie Nation (or "alienation"). It's a place where where "all the things of the earth and in the sky have energy to be exploited, even themselves, mining themselves into souls, sold," as an interlude of narration tells us.
