In July, Damon Albarn told the BBC that a new Gorillaz album and follow-up to 2010's Plastic Beach would be ready "fairly soon." “Later in the year we’ll be starting to get the whole Gorillaz thing together,” he said.
On Tuesday, in a sign of further activity from the animated band, Gorillaz have launched an Instagram account chronicling their history from 2000's Tomorrow Comes Today EP onwards. Spotted by Exclaim!, the account has posted various clips from music videos and assorted awards show appearances as well as a good deal of "press shots." The FADER has reached out for comment.
