Marvel and Ta-Nehisi Coates teamed up with Brooklyn's Flatbush Zombies for the latest installment of Coates's Black Panther series. In a special video, premiering on The FADER today, Coates gives a walkthrough of the story so far, while the Zombies's new track, "Aries," plays in the background. The story finds our hero kidnapped (but eventually freed) and pairs well with the droning beat of "Aries" and the song's political lyrics: "Segregation, separation, take my people, chain my people, ship them out, build a nation, picket lines, demonstration/ Kill switch, detonation, this takes dedication."

In an email to The FADER, the members of Flatbush Zombies said that they were honored and inspired to create a soundtrack for the superhero. "We touched on topics regarding race relations and police brutality; harnessing all of the real life horrors of discrimination and applying them to a fictional character who fights for his people," they said.

Issue #8 hits stands tomorrow and is up for pre-order now. Watch the video above.
