In July, FKA twigs put out an open call for dancers in the city of Baltimore to join her for a workshop. A new documentary with WeTransfer entitled Baltimore Dance Project, follows twigs and the workshop participants over the course of two days. The call was primarily to bring creative people in the Baltimore community together, but Twigs also selected a number of dancers from the workshop to join her onstage during her performance in the city the following night.

"I found myself in a position where I can remind people to stand really tall and say you’re incredible," twigs says of the experience in the film. "Everyone in that room, we are all connected now, we all had that experience, and for the rest of time what we made that day went up into the universe.”
