The Roots will be traveling to New Orleans in February to open up the proceedings for the 2017 NBA All-Star game. The group is the second confirmed act for the game, which will feature a performance from John Legend during the halftime show. The Roots are performing as part of the "Entertainment Series present by JBL," which will begin before the players are introduced, according to Complex.
