Listen To Bankroll Fresh’s Posthumous Single, “Truth Be Told”

On March 5, Bankroll Fresh was shot and killed outside of Street Execs Studios in Atlanta. The 28-year-old rapper, a distinctive staple of Atlanta's sprawling underground scene since 2007, was mourned widely by fans and artists alike. Since his death, Bankroll Fresh's verses have appeared on singles from fellow Atlanta artists Jeezy and YFN Lucci.

Today, The FADER is premiering "Truth Be Told," Bankroll's first posthumous single from the upcoming In Bank We Trust. On the new track, Fresh's gruff voice cuts through Evil G's frantic instrumental, as he separates the real from the fake. In Bank We Trust, a ten-track collection of unheard Bankroll Fresh material, is due out early 2017. Listen to "Truth Be Told" below.
