Solange's A Seat At The Table and Beyoncé's Lemonade are two very special albums meticulously crafted by two strong women with Texas roots. Now, some of Houston's other finest thinkers, OG Ron C, DJ Candlestick, and DK Slim K, better known as The Chopstars, have created a "chopped not slopped" double album of the two number one albums. They call their slowed-down creation A Seat At The Table While Sipping Purple Lemonade and it's amazing. In the Chopstars capable hands, Beyoncé's poppy "All Night" has been turned into an eight minute long meditation. Make it all the way to the finale and you'll hear an extra funky version of Solange's "Junie."
In an email to The FADER, OG Ron C said that the Knowles sisters mashup is the first in a new slate of releases. "Stay tuned for more super remixes his week from OG Ron C & The Chopstars, including the Migos PurpleCulture remix," he said.
