Last night in London it was the NME Awards. This year the magazine's annual awards ceremony saw Skepta pick up Best British Male Artist and The 1975 named Best Live Band. Backstage Matty Healy of The 1975 spoke about a recent attempt he and Skepta made at working together, suggesting they will collaborate again in the future.

“Me and Skepta know each other,” NME quotes Healy as saying. “We tried working with each other recently but it just didn’t work out. Just for loads of reasons– but we’re going to do something in the future. We want to do like a "West End Girls" Pet Shop Boys [kind of thing]. Maybe start a band, just me and Skepta do a band. Well we’re talking about it, so let’s see what happens.”

Other winners at the 2017 NME Awards included Frank Ocean, MIA, Christine and The Queens, Dua Lipa, and Adele. Beyoncé was named Hero Of The Year while Wiley was handed a lifetime achievement award.
