Taxstone Indicted On Weapons Charge

The “Tax Season” podcast host was arrested in January for his connection to a shooting at Irving Plaza last May.

Taxstone, host of the podcast "Tax Season," has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges including possession of a firearm by a felon and receiving a firearm by interstate commerce. Real name Daryl Campbell, Taxstone was arrested last month for his connection to a shooting at a T.I. concert at Irving Plaza also involving Troy Ave. The shooting lead to the subsequent death of the rappers body guard, Ronald McPhatter.

According to Federal prosecutors, Taxstone was in illegal possession of a 9-milimeter Kel-Tec semiautomatic handgun that was discharged at the Irving Plaza concert. The minimum sentence for a felon in possession of a firearm is one year and a maximum sentence of 10 years, baring any prior violent crimes.
