Future's self-titled album has debuted at No. 1, earning 140,000 equivalent album units in its first week, Billboard reports. The album marks the fourth No. 1 debut of the Atlanta rapper's career, following EVOL, What A Time To Be Alive, and DS2.
With the release of HNDRXX on February 24, Future could become the first artist in the chart's 61-year history to score back-to-back No. 1 debuts in successive weeks. Streaming accounted for the majority of the album's total sales numbers at 73,000 units, while traditional album sales numbered 60,000 and track equivalent album units tallied 7,000 additional units.
