Pharrell Announced As NYU Commencement Speaker

Pharrell Williams and Melissa Harris-Perry will each receive an honorary doctorate from New York University, the institution announced today. The titles will be awarded at N.Y.U.'s 185th Commencement Exercises, held on May 17, 2017 in Yankee Stadium.

Pharrell will deliver the commencement address, and receive a Doctor of Fine Arts degree. Perry, who already has a PhD in political science, will also recieve a Doctor of Humane Letters.
